Juanita Week Three

Week Three

Day 1

My routine began as normal at the gym only it started around 5am. 

Shower and breakfast, then I went to the park and had some fun on the swings again. 

Then I went to a cooking class at Hogan’s Deep Fried Diner.  I enjoyed it there so much I decided to transfer jobs there.  It would be better and I wouldn’t keep running into Shaun.  I earned $234 today and apart from that nothing eventful to report.   

Day 2

Couldn’t sleep, bought a Popsicle from the ice cream van, although I’ve no idea why it would be here at 5am.  Went to park to eat it and again have no idea why.  Things like that happen in Simland, we are just compelled to do things which make no sense at all sometimes. 

After eating my Popsicle I collected some valuable rocks. 

I’ll be able to sell them later, another way to make money, collecting things. 

I finally got around to reading gardening book.  Reached level one and at the end of the section was a pack of seeds.  At last I’ll be able to start my garden.  Wish I’d done it earlier.  I rushed home to plant them straight away. 

On arriving the postman had been and my bills were now $6.  I paid them then found a nice spot to plant my seeds.

 There four little plants, the beginning of my garden, 2 grapevines and 2 tomato plants.  I also have a lettuce and an apple seed but it’s time for work now so I’ll have to plant them later after work.  Today I earned $233.  I stopped off at the Marsden Swim Centre for a shower tonight.  It was just down the block from my new workplace, much nearer than the Gym. 

Day two

Planted apple and lettuce seeds and tended other plants. 

My they have grown so big in a short space of time. 

I have finally started the beginnings of a home, starting with a bathroom.  A fridge, a counter, a table and a chair is the beginning of a kitchen.  Now I don’t have to go to town to wash and eat. 

My first home cooked meal, even though it’s only a salad, and then back to the garden. 

Just finished in time for work.  I earned $234 today and home straight to bed. 

Day four

Today is my day off and it begins at 7:30 with juice from the fridge. 

Next a quick shower then tend to the garden. 

I then went back to the cafe that Shaun and I had our first date.  I played computer games for a bit. 

Then had something to eat, can’t remember what it was and again home to bed.  Nothing exciting happening of late. 

Day five

Another day off.  Woke up at 8:30 showered and had cereal for breakfast.  

Then went for a walk and met Jerome Maxwell, who had just moved to Union Cove too.  We got to talking and got along well. 

I invited him back to my place. 

Paid bills of $12, bills are slowly rising.  As soon as we got home Jerome had to leave he had to go somewhere he said. 

Made salad for dinner, then called Jerome and Terrel for a chat. 

Made sure I watered my little garden before going to bed. 

Day six

It was back to work today.  I was doing well, but my skill in cooking was beginning to lag behind a little.  It was time to step it up a notch. 

I bought the second book in the series of cooking and promptly started to read. 

I like to be peaceful and quiet so I went to the park again. 

I increased my skill a little but not enough to reach the next level.  It’s that time again, work.  I earned $234 today. 

After work I called Jerome and invited him to the karaoke bar. 

I had to go in my work cloths, no time to change. 

We sang a duet.

  Afterwards we talked and got to know each other a little better. 

It was then that I discovered that he’d hooked up with a girl called Wanda.  I was cautious after the whole Shaun episode so decided not to pursue any kind of relationship with Jerome.  I left the bar and went home.  It was getting late anyway.

Day seven

I was very tired after my night out, so slept most of the morning.  Woke up at 10:30.  Spoke briefly to Jerome on the phone.  I

 showered and made peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.  Then off to work.  Nothing too eventful today.  Oh except Shaun invited me to his party.  I wasn’t sure at first if I was going.  It started at 4:44, which is an odd time to say the least, but I’d be at work then.  I earned $233 and was promoted to Ingredient Taster, with a bonus of $468. 

I was very tired but decided to go to Shaun’s party.  It would probably be over soon anyway.  He greeted me warmly enough and we went inside.  It was like old times.  We talked about work, he’d been promoted again.  He was now a Sous Chef. 

We had a pillow fight and then I don’t know what came over me. 

I asked him if he wanted to skinny dip, but before he could answer I stripped off and jumped in.  He didn’t respond, he stood at the side tapping his foot.  I came out got dressed and apologised for my behaviour.  Shaun forgave me, of course, and suggested I was a little cranky because I was tired.  “It’s late” he said “why don’t you stay here for the night.  Get one good night’s rest in a proper bed” then added quickly “I have a spare.”  I guess that was so I didn’t get any more crazy ideas. 

So I slept over.
