Juanita Week Two

Week Two

Day one

Slight change of routine today.  Woke up at 10am and went to park.  

Cooked and ate hot dogs, then over to gym to shower.  Called Shaun to go to Karaoke bar but he was busy so went alone.  

When I got there someone was already singing.  Stood and watched for a while.  I just got on for my turn when I had to leave to go to work.  

Here I am after my shift in my new uniform.  

Now that I'm home, just so you can get a better idea of how big the lot is here it is in its entirety.  All the checked area is my land,

and from the other side.  Just thought you might like to see it.  Anyway I left work and as usual I was tired.  I was falling a little behind on my studies of cooking.  I should have been on level four for the promotion I received, but I was only on level two.  

So I decided to catch up a little.  Had to do it standing up, don't even have a chair.  I don’t know who that strange dog is or where it came from, but it looks peaceful enough so I’ll leave him.  I managed to increase my skill to level three before hitting the sleeping bag.  

Day two

Woke up at 9:30 See the flag on the post box it's up so that means the post man has been.

 I recycled the old newspaper then checked to see how much I owed the town council.  Well that's not so bad, only $1.  

Better pay it though, can't afford for the repo man to take away my one and only possession, my sleeping bag. 

Now down to the gym for a shower and cereal for breakfast, and it's already 1:00pm.  Well at least I had the good sense to dress for work.  So now breakfast is over it's off to work.  I earned $192 today.  

Called an acquaintance that I’d met at the bar and chatted for a while.  I needed to build up a relationship with him so I could go to the restaurant with him as part of my assignment.  Then I called Shaun for a chat too, and that was my day.

Day three

Woke up at 9 today and headed for the park.  It was early and not many sims about.

 Had some fun on the swing, took me back to my childhood days. 

Shaun came to join me all dressed up.   I wonder where he’s been.  We had a chat.  I found out a few more things about Shaun, he was an aries which was compatible with my sign. 

I began to flirt with him and he flirted back.  Then it was time for work again.  I said a quick goodbye in a flirty sort of way

and rushed off. 

I earned $210 today.  Things are beginning to look up. 

When I arrived home I called Shaun and invited him over.  I was keen to continue our chat from earlier.  I did like him a lot. 

I greeted him with a handshake when I really wanted to kiss him. 

I decided flowers would speed things up a bit. 

We ended up watching the stars together. 

It was getting late so I asked if he wanted to sleep over in a sleeping bag under the stars we had just been watching. 

He said yes and had his own sleeping bag.  So we bagged up for the night.

Day four

It’s my day off today so I’m hoping I’ll be able to spend it with Shaun. 

As we woke up together I asked if he’d slept well and would he like to spend the day with me.  He said yes he had and that would be very nice.  So first I took him through my usual routine. Gym for shower and breakfast.  He didn’t seem to mind. 

Then we went to the karaoke bar.  We chatted outside for a while then decided to go see a movie.  I enjoyed the movie and suggested we go for a quiet meal.  Not at work but a quiet cafe away from the crowds.  Shaun agreed. 

I had fish and chips he had a hamburger. 

Then we danced together.  

I thought things were going well. 

I told him I liked him and he seemed to respond, but then I leaned in to kiss him and it all fell apart.  He rejected and left the cafe.  

  I went home and to bed. 

Day five

I’d had a late night and a bad date so I was quite ready to sleep in today, but at 8:56 my phone woke me up. 

It was work giving me another assignment; I declined the offer,

then called Shaun and invited him over. 

While I was waiting for him I began to recycle the news papers, but he arrived before I could put the first one in the bin.  He presented me with a beautiful bunch of red roses. 

We flirted then another bunch of flowers.  I decided to take a different approach and ask him to move in with me.  To my surprise he said yes.  He said he’d been having trouble with his house mates and would be glad of the change.  He didn’t seem to mind that there was nothing on the lot.  He said he liked the idea of building something from scratch. 

We went to the karaoke bar for the evening and sang together. 

Then Shaun went on the phone and I sang with Terrel York.  The evening began to deteriorate so we went home.  This moving in together is not all it’s cracked up to be. 

Day six

Woke up at about 10 and took Shaun through the routine at the gym. 

Then it was time for work.  There was something wrong.  Shaun was not the lovable friend that he’d been when we first met.  I had to find out what was going on.  I earned $192 today and Shaun brought home $594.  Two working is definitely better than one. 

After work Shaun was talking on the phone to his brother.   I was too tired to question him so we went straight to sleeping bag.  

Day seven

I woke early and sat and watched Shaun sleep, thinking what could possibly be wrong. 

When he woke I asked him. 

He confessed that he was having a hard time with his girlfriend when we met and they were kinda broken up.  When I came on to him he went along with it in the hope of moving on.  But now he’d just found out that she’d had a baby boy.  "I didn't know", he said "she kept her pregnancy a secret.  It was my brother that told me, but I do want to be a part of my son's life."  So that's what all the phone calls were about?  "Yes" he said.

I decided that up until now no harm had been done and that we could just be friends.  He wasn't too pleased about that but accepted it.  I think he thought that we'd still carry on the way we were.  I don't think so buster.  When we went to work there was an atmosphere.  He earned $593 today and I earned $188, a promotion and a bonus of $384.  Things were definitely on the up and up.  I was now a vegetable slicer.  When I got home that evening Shaun was gone.  He’d moved out.  Well that’s it for week two, very eventful.  I hope week three isn’t such a roller coaster.

There really isn't a sign that I can use to represent Simoleons so I've used a crossed out dollar sign as this is the nearest to the sign used in the game.  So when you see $ think not dollar, because it's crossed out, ah yes Simoleons.
